Inspired on the “Batán de piedra” a lithic utensil for grinding food used in Perú. It consists of a larger flat stone and a crescent-shaped upper stone. It is grasped with both hands and rocks on the food smoothly, firmly, at different speeds and at a great pace.

Marana Wooden Knife is created with the main function of cutting herbs, crushing nuts or foods of low hardness. Its organic shapes recall the figure of the hand and this refers to its perfect ergonomics.
